Angela in NYC
Trumpet player Angela Gosse is an orchestral and chamber musician and a frequent soloist. This summer Angela has played Fiddler on the Roof on Broadway and at the Manchester Music Festival in Vermont. In December 2015 Angela performed with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra. Last spring Angela performed with the American Symphony Orchestra and played the Haydn Concerto with the Bronx Arts Ensemble. She was heard in the recorded incidental music of the hit Broadway production of "War Horse" at Lincoln Center Theater. Angela has performed with American Ballet Theater, Verismo Opera, and the Gateway Classical Orchestra. She has played with the New World Symphony in Miami as well as Dicapo Opera in NY. Angela played recent recitals with organists Stephen Tharp and Claudia Dumschat, as well as concerts with the Arcadia Brass Quintet. You can hear Angela on Gramercy Brass Orchestra's new album 'Brubeck Bold and Brassy', Christmas Carols for Organ and Trumpet (JAV 184) with Jim Lake, trumpet and Dr. Jennifer Pascual, organ recorded at St. Patrick's Cathedral, NY as well as the Fordham University Choir's new CD. Angela has a Masters degree from the Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor of Music from New England Conservatory.
